The league has decided after a meeting with the cry babys, that our first game of the season has to be replayed . Even though we hammered them 7-1 , just goes to show some teams have more than a say in the league ,never mind if your going to win the league , you have to beat whats put infront of you . and when they read this message they can pass it on to their manager , YOUR GOING TO GET HAMMERED AGAIN. but this time your going to get a lesson in football .

Mike i`m with u on this one but no point it getting in the way of whats ahead, we have all aired our views on this one and its strange that it has taken all this time for them to give their virdict !!! 6-7 months !
Going back to one of ur earlier questions ; Should we stay or go? STAY PUT AND CARRY ON SETTING THE STANDARDS !!
Sad that this league has come to this as i have represented several teams over the last 10 years and played at inter league levels and its all a bit embarrasing !! Hope the VIP are Happy with this outcome lets just hope they are not counting on an easy re match! Stuart is a good player and a well liked gezza and i wish him all the best where ever he plays but VIP know only too well that his appearance was in no way affective in the score line, and who knows if he had been on longer he may of bagged a few
Mike lets drop a gear and smoke this league again !

Mike, which tosser has decided we have to play this again? We're still in all cups, we've got games in hand to play and we've still got a re-arranged game to come. Do they want us to cancel our holidays and play in July with jumpers for goalposts? Lets look at the FACTS. We were something like 5-1 up when Stuart come on! It was a TEAM peformance that won us that game not down to ANY individual. I'm all for playing a game of football but when you're going back on something that was 6 or 7 months ago then you're getting a bit silly. I don't care who I play against on a Sunday. A fella out walking his dog could play on the opposite side and mark me (with his dog!) and i'd still play. Just because he's not signed a piece of paper or a deal has been done, who cares? It's SUNDAY LEAGUE NOT the Champions League. Lets all stick to what we all get up for on a cold, Sunday morning...........PLAYING FOOTBALL. It's the numpties 'upstairs' or 'the men in suits' who are ruining FOOTBALL.

STEWY dont blame yourself mate , we where 7-0 up when you came on with 10 minutes to play , final score 7-1 , so you could say it helped them you coming on . not to worry if your going to win things you have to beat whats in front of you . Lets be the Champions we know we are , heads held high and play them of the park AGAIN .
